Flash Sport Fishing Charters offers guided deep sea fishing charters and trips in San Francisco Bay and near the Golden Gate Bridge, based at Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco. Led by Captain Steve Talmadge, who has navigated the Bay and ocean waters since 1970 with experience in both commercial and sport fishing, the business is fully insured and Coast Guard Masters licensed.

Captain Steve keeps groups genuinely small — no more than 6 anglers per trip — ensuring personal attention throughout. Fishing options include Bass, Halibut, Lingcod, Salmon, Shark, and Sturgeon Fishing Charters, plus Deep Sea Fishing (rockfish, salmon, striped bass, and more, with scenic views of Alcatraz, Angel Island, and the Farallon Islands) and dedicated On-Board Wharf Boat Parties for company outings or family gatherings, taking advantage of the prime Fisherman’s Wharf location.

Shark fishing is a genuine specialty — 11 species of shark inhabit San Francisco Bay, with a well-trained crew helping land a memorable catch and story. The fleet includes two boats: Flash, a 32-foot Wegley with a 14-foot beam, and Flash II, a 33-foot Tiara with a 12.8-foot beam — both certified environmentally GREEN vessels meeting the latest clean air requirements.

Every trip is genuinely all-inclusive: quality rods, reels, tackle, and bait are provided — guests just bring a fishing license and lunch. The business maintains a frequently updated fishing report blog with current Bay conditions.

For anglers of any experience level near San Francisco, California looking for a deeply experienced, more than 50-year established shark, salmon, halibut, or deep sea fishing charter, Flash Sport Fishing Charters offers a well-equipped operation with Captain Steve Talmadge.
