Summer cutthroat trout on Lake Sammamish run in the 17 to 18 inch range with occasional fish reaching 20 to 22 inches and over four pounds, offering both an acrobatic fight and excellent table fare.
Bass and panfish trips put the rod directly in guests’ hands for sight-fishing, casting, and jigging, targeting hard-fighting smallmouth bass along with panfish that make for fresh, tasty fish tacos. These trips can also be combined with trout fishing for a broader day on the water. Panfish trips are especially suited to young or new anglers looking for fast action and a high volume of fish, typically running around four hours and packed with tips along the way.
Pricing runs $300 per person for bass trips, limited to three anglers, and $175 per person for panfish trips, which can accommodate one to six anglers with a two-person minimum for private bookings. Paul is often out on the water himself when not guiding, usually accompanied by his four-legged first mate, Lana.
