SML Boat Rentals operates out of Mitchell’s Point Marina & RV Park on Smith Mountain Lake, run by owner Jeff Prowse alongside Debbie, Chris, and a friendly staff who greet guests at “the Rental Shack” to pick up their boat. Boat rental hours run daily 9am-6pm during the Memorial Day-Labor Day season (off-season 9am-5pm, closed October 14-March 16), with the gas dock open daily 8am-8pm in summer.
