Ruby D Charters is a father-son team, Captains Dale and Aaron, running private fishing charters out of Edmonds, Washington aboard their boat, the Ruby D. Based at the Port of Edmonds Marina, the business focuses on delivering a fully private experience on Puget Sound, no longer offering shared or mixed charters of any kind.

Trips target King (Chinook), Silver (Coho), and Pink salmon, along with flounder, lingcod, and Dungeness crab depending on the season. Morning trips run six hours, and a four-hour afternoon trip is available June through September. Special pickups can be arranged at Shilshole Bay Marina in Seattle, Kingston Marina, or South Whidbey Island for an additional fee. Beyond fishing, Ruby D Charters also performs burial-at-sea services and offers a scenic photo cruise option.

Pricing for the six-hour morning trip runs $1,200 for three people up to $1,500 for six, while a dedicated two-person private morning trip runs $1,000 for five hours. The four-hour afternoon trip is a flat $1,100 fee for one to five people, and burial-at-sea service runs $600. Payment is accepted via Venmo, check, cash, Zelle, or PayPal.
