Marcia B Sportfishing offers inshore and nearshore fishing charters out of the Virginia Beach Fishing Center at Rudee Inlet, led by Captain Kurt Ward, who has fished tournaments around the world and brings a competitive nature to every trip. From the beginning of June until mid-September, Captain Kurt guides guests through the productive inshore waters of Virginia Beach, targeting Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Redfish, small Sharks, Flounder, and King Mackerel. Every charter includes a licensed captain, fishing licenses, bait, tackle, rods, reels, ice, and an onboard cooler for the catch, with fish cleaning and filleting available back at the dock for a small additional charge.

Inshore charters (up to 12 miles from Rudee Inlet) run $625 for a half day (7am-11am or 12pm-4pm) or $425 for a sunset charter (5pm-7pm). Nearshore charters (up to 14 miles out) run $825 for a 6-hour day trip (7am-1pm) or $925 for a full-day trip (7am-2pm), all for groups of 6 or less. A credit card is required to hold the charter, cancellations must be made 48 hours ahead, and no-shows are charged in full.
