Chase The Blue Charters is based in Anna Maria Island/Holmes Beach, Florida, named after owner Captain Devin Calderon’s water-loving pup and fishing pal, Chase. A second-generation Manatee County fisherman who grew up on the waters of Anna Maria, Devin has fished inshore and offshore since he was a boy, bringing genuine experience and passion to every trip alongside Captain Tyler Kaiser, both locals with more than 10 years of experience fishing these waters.
Inshore Fishing runs aboard a custom-built 24-foot Robin with a wide 9’6″ beam capable of running very shallow, fishing the calm flats, mangrove shorelines, and back bay waters of Tampa Bay or the stunning beaches of Anna Maria Island, targeting Snook, Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Tarpon, and Mangrove Snapper on light tackle for up to 6 guests. Nearshore Fishing (up to 9 nautical miles offshore) runs on a 29-foot Century powered by twin 300 Yamahas, comfortably carrying up to 6 guests to target Mangrove Snapper, Grunts, Hogfish, Porgies, Kingfish, and Grouper — a great trip for anglers wanting to bring home dinner. Seasonal Tarpon Charters chase the “Silver King,” with fish often exceeding 5 feet and 150+ pounds (the Florida conventional tackle record stands at 243 pounds). Red Snapper Charters (May-August, 10-14 hours, 60+ miles offshore aboard a 30-foot Century) target the prized American Red Snapper.
