Carolina Flats Fishing is a veteran-owned and operated professional guide service serving Topsail Island, Surf City, Figure Eight Island, and Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, led by Captain Adam, a U.S. Coast Guard certified, fully insured captain. Captain Adam’s passion for the outdoors deepened while serving in the United States Marine Corps, and after his time in service, he followed that calling into guiding.
The business focuses on inshore and nearshore light tackle fishing, sharing the thrill of the bite and the sound of line ripping off the reel with clients. Every trip includes tackle and fishing licenses.
Inshore trips chase Redfish, Trout, and Flounder on the flats, along with Sheepshead and Black Drum around bridges and docks, using a mix of live/dead bait and artificial lures, priced at $500 for a 4-hour half day or $700 for a 6-hour full day (1-3 anglers, $50 per additional angler up to 5). Nearshore trips target artificial reefs and structure, sight-casting schools of Atlantic Bonito, False Albacore, Spanish Mackerel, and more, priced the same as inshore ($500/$700), limited to 3 passengers. A 2-hour Island Tour (up to 5 people, $300) explores Eastern North Carolina’s beautiful barrier islands, with opportunities to walk secluded beaches finding shark’s teeth and seashells.
A $100 deposit is due at booking, accepted via Venmo or credit card.
