Trips run aboard the Miss Lia II, a 31-foot Cape Horn center console with twin Yamaha 300 four-stroke engines and advanced Simrad electronics. Half-day trips (4 hours) fish the inlets and nearshore reefs about 10 miles out, targeting Spot Tail Bass, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Barracuda, and Sharks. A 3/4-day trip (6 hours) runs 10-25 miles offshore, perfect in spring for Beaufort’s local favorite, Cobia, along with King Mackerel, Sea Bass, Vermilion Snapper, Trigger Fish, Grouper, Spadefish, and Amberjacks. A full-day trip (8 hours) runs up to 40 miles offshore for more time and more fishing spots, while the Gulf Stream Trip is a full 12-hour day (5am-5pm) running roughly 55 miles offshore for Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Sailfish, and Marlin.
