Capt. Stacy Fishing Center has offered deep sea and sport fishing trips out of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina for more than 60 years, centrally located on the Atlantic Beach Causeway. From the moment guests arrive, they board one of the finest fishing vessels along the East Coast, skimming the clean blue waters of the Atlantic all the way to the Gulf Stream to troll or bottom fish where the big prizes wait.
The waters off Atlantic Beach, Morehead City, Beaufort, and Emerald Isle are considered a fisherman’s paradise. Deep Sea Bottom Fishing runs aboard the Capt. Stacy IV headboat, targeting Vermillion Red Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish, Black Sea Bass, and Amberjack, while private charter Sport Fishing targets Blue Marlin, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, and Spanish Mackerel.
Full Day trips depart 6am, returning 5pm, running Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; Half Day trips run Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Private Shark Fishing charters run 7 days a week (morning and afternoon), starting at $450 for a group of up to 6. Private sport fishing charters are also available any day of the week, matched to the group’s needs. Alcohol isn’t allowed on the Capt. Stacy IV, though beer and reasonably priced food and drinks are sold in the galley; only soft-pack coolers with food or sodas are permitted (no empty coolers).
